Shagun is a mother, a wife, an entrepreneur and an avid supporter of empowerment of women by building relationships through networking, raising each other up and channeling the power of collaboration and supporting one another.

She is a graduate from New Delhi, India and did her Masters in Human Resource Management at UCLA, Los Angeles. She worked in the corporate sector for many years only to quit and follow her dreams and passions. She designed and sold Indian jewelry and clothing from her home boutique and also represented India as Mrs India in Virgelia Productions Mrs Asia USA.

She found her brand LA Fashion Closet in 2018 with the main mantra of “When women support women, amazing things happen”. LA Fashion closet has quickly become the leading source of networking, promoting, advancing and entertaining women and girls by empowering them, bringing them forward, and highlighting their respective field of work and entrepreneurial skills. They also have fun along the way by hosting entertainment events for women.

LA Fashion closet hosted its very first successful entertainment event ‘Valley Women meet up’ in Aug of 2021 and the second mega successful event ‘Divas Diwali Dhamaka’ in Oct of 2021 where many small business women came together, collaborated and benefited from each other’s connections and support. The events were covered in major print media all across California.

Her goal is to simply bring people from different backgrounds together by means of collaboration, partnership and make meaningful connections that will last a lifetime.
